Leicester based Clinical Psychologist
I am Dr Ashley Francis, a Clinical Psychologist based in Leicester with 10 years of experience working in both my own private practice and in the NHS. My expertise is in assessing and treating adults (16 - 65+ years) experiencing a wide range of psychological, emotional, relational and physical health difficulties. I am also a recognised Expert Witness for Civil Court Cases (personal injury, road traffic accidents medical negligence, data breaches), and offer medicolegal assessments and reports for the Civil Courts.
My approach to therapy is ambitious. I seek not only to help you free yourself of symptoms like anxiety and depression, but also to get to the root of what is driving your symptoms and resolve these issues, helping you to have long lasting change in the shortest time possible. I am dedicated to my work with you, and that's why I have undertaken advanced training in three different models of therapy including CBT, EMDR and ISTDP - this allows me to tailor treatment to your exact needs rather than offer a 'one-size fits all approach;.
If you want to get to the heart of the problems that you are having, then contact me today for an assessment.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO COVID-19, I'M ONLY SEEING PATIENTS ONLINE FOR ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT.

"Dr Francis was very welcoming and helped me through a difficult period in my life. I thought recording our sessions was a great idea as it allowed him to review our talks in between sessions, which made the experience feel more personal and subsequently more helpful. Dr Francis is also a great listener and has helped me to stop being so hard on myself and to live in the moment!”
