Assessment

I provide an expert in-depth assessment process, aiming to determine the precise nature of your problems and identify the best treatment options for you. Depending upon the purpose of the assessment, the duration can last between 1.5 - 3 hours. As a Clinical Psychologist, I have been trained to the highest academic standard to apply current knowledge on human behaviour to your particular problems, and devise a treatment strategy that is supported by scientific evidence.

What assessments I provide

I can undertake assessments for the following purposes:

  • Therapy assessments (assessing suitability for psychological therapy and identifying what therapy is recommended)

  • Capacity assessments (examining a person's capacity to make decisions that affect their lives e.g. consent to treatment)

  • Risk assessments (using clinical interview and psychometric tools)

  • Cognitive functioning and IQ assessments (using a battery of psychometric tests)

Please contact me to discuss any assessment you would like me to undertake.
